Greg Brock (1963-2010)
Gregory Steven Brock, 47 of Clear Creek went to be with God on Monday, April 5, 2010, as a result of injuries in an explosion at Performance Coal’s Upper Big Creek Mine. He had been employed there as an electrician for 10 years.
Born on January 8, 1963, to the late Hazel and Bonnie Brock. Greg is preceded in death by his oldest brother Krellas Brock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his very loving son, Gregory Kyle Brock; daughter, Dixie Webb, granddaughters, Jenna and Jillian Webb; four siblings; sisters Melba Williams and her husband Woody of Pontiac, Michigan and Hilda Tolliver and her husband Don of Beckley; two brothers Noel Brock of San Diego, California, Eric Brock of Whitesville, WV; six nephews and three nieces. He is also survived by a loving and supportive girlfriend Patti Stover. He and little Greg loved her and enjoyed spending time with Patti and her daughters Shayla and Brooke Stover; and a host of friends and relatives.
Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He loved spending time on his farm where he always had a vegetable and flower garden.
